Terms of Use

Kalamazoo Care Network ("KzooCare") is a shared directory and coordination platform for community organizations serving Kalamazoo County, Michigan. The public site helps residents and helpers find services. KzooCare does not itself provide housing, food, medical, legal, financial, immigration, or other direct services unless a page explicitly says otherwise.

By using the site, you agree to these terms.

KzooCare is not an emergency service and is not monitored around the clock. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health or suicidal crisis, call or text 988. Do not use this website, a contact form, or a referral to report an emergency.

Most directory content is supplied and maintained by independent participating organizations. Crisis resource entries are compiled from public sources. We make a reasonable effort to keep the directory current, but:

• A listed service may not be available, may have a waiting list, may have changed hours or eligibility rules, or may no longer exist.
• A listing does not mean an organization can accept a particular person, or that the service is appropriate for that person's situation.
• Always confirm important details directly with the organization before you travel, apply, or rely on the information.

"Verified" next to an organization means KzooCare reviewed basic organizational and service information before that organization joined the network. It is not an accreditation, certification, or endorsement, and it is not a guarantee of quality, availability, safety, or suitability. See the Partner Agreement for what verification involves.

Please use the site the way it is meant to be used. Do not:

• Attempt to access accounts, resident information, or portal areas you are not authorized to use.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or republish the directory to build a competing or commercial list, or harvest contact details for marketing.
• Submit false information, impersonate an organization, or misuse contact forms.
• Interfere with the site — probing, overloading, introducing malicious code, or circumventing security controls.
• Use the site to harass, defraud, or endanger anyone.

Good-faith security research reported privately to security@kzoocare.org is welcome.

The site links to organizations, government programs, and outside resources we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, practices, or privacy policies. Following an external link means their terms apply, not ours.

The KzooCare name, design, written guides, and site software belong to KzooCare or its licensors. You may read, print, link to, and share pages for personal or noncommercial community use, including printing guides to hand to someone who needs them. Please do not republish substantial portions as your own, or use our name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you. Organizations keep ownership of the listing content they submit and grant us permission to display it in the directory.

Guides and resource information are general information, not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. The site and directory are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, KzooCare and the people who operate it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from your reliance on directory information, from the acts or omissions of a participating organization, or from your inability to use the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

We may change the site, the directory, or these terms as the network grows. Updated terms take effect when posted, with a revised effective, last-updated, and version value at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.
